CISCE Results: All Goa Schools Achieve 100% Pass Rate

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) declared results on Thursday, with all six schools in Goa for Class X (ICSE) and three schools for Class XII (ISC) achieving cent percent results. A total of 383 students appeared for the Class X exams, comprising 212 boys and 171 girls, while 90 students took the Class XII exams, including 35 boys and 55 girls.

Sharada Mandir School, Miramar

At Sharada Mandir School in Miramar, 175 students appeared for the Class X exam. The highest percentage was scored by Kavin Acharya and Krishn Kamat Tarkar, each with 99.2%. Avani Shenoy and Athan Pereira both secured 98.3%, followed by Vardhan Salgaonkar with 98.2%. Principal Sharmila Umesh reported that 156 students earned a distinction, with 69 scoring 90% and above, and 19 achieving first class.

For the Class XII exams at the same school, 62 students appeared: 25 in humanities, 19 in science, and 18 in commerce. The school stated that 55 students secured a distinction, of which 21 scored 90% and above, and seven achieved first class. In humanities, Anaya Do Rosario Mukerjie and Ifra Khan topped with 96.2%. In science, Kayaan Chhabra led with 96%, and in commerce, Shriyaan Kamat topped with 95.4%.

Manovikas English Medium School, Margao

Manovikas English Medium School in Margao had 130 ICSE students, with 101 securing distinction and 50 scoring 90% and above. Kavish Borkar topped the school with 98.8%, followed closely by Ved Shenvi Lotliker with 98%, and Diya Pereira with 97.6%. In the ISC science stream, Blaine Rebello secured the first position with 95.2%. In commerce, Pooja Mirdha topped with 90%, and in humanities, Savana D'Costa emerged as the topper with 95.5%. Principal Geetanjali Rallabandi said, 'The achievement is a matter of great pride for the school.'

GVM's Utkarsh Vidyamandir, Ponda

Julliet Ayyaswamy, principal of GVM's Utkarsh Vidyamandir in Ponda, said that for the ICSE, 38 students appeared, of which 30 secured distinction and eight achieved first class. The highest percentage of 97.6% was scored by Ayushi Naik, followed by Varad Palvankar and Sanvi Dhawas in second place with 96.6%, and Swaraj Gapat and Kirti Phadte with 93.8% in third place.

St Andrew's School, Vasco

Principal Russell Coutinho of St Andrew's School in Vasco reported that for Class X, 12 students scored distinction, 10 achieved first class, and one got second class. The school topper was Drishti Naik with 92.2%. For ISC, two students scored distinction and seven achieved first class. The toppers were Ria Fernandes in the science stream with 81.2% and Rudra Mandrekar in the commerce stream with 89.4%.

Sharada Mandir School, Kadamba Plateau

The first batch from Sharada Mandir School in Kadamba Plateau appeared for Class X exams. Shrisha Gawas scored 95%, followed by Gaurav Rajput with 91.2%, and Grace Makkimane with 90.2%. Out of 14 students, nine secured a distinction, with three scoring 90% and above, and five achieving first class.
