Thiruvananthapuram: Students from ICSE and ISC schools in and around the city performed exceptionally well when the results for Class X and XII were announced on Thursday.
St Thomas Residential School
At St Thomas Residential School, as many as 178 students out of the 198 who appeared for the ICSE (Class X) exam secured distinctions, while 20 others achieved first class. Jeremy Mani Cherian topped the school with an impressive 98.8% marks. S Advika and Mahadevan Rajan shared the second rank, each scoring 98.6%.
In the ISC (Class XII) exam, Durga B S and Hannah A jointly secured the first rank in the science stream with 99.5% marks. Devananda A S emerged as the school topper in the commerce stream with 89.5%, while Dania Suzanne John topped the humanities stream with 97%.
Christ Nagar School, Knowdiar
At Christ Nagar School, Knowdiar, 70 out of 168 candidates who appeared for the ICSE exam scored 90% and above. The school recorded 146 distinctions, with the remaining students securing first class. Rishi G and Abdul Haadhi R shared the first rank, each scoring 98.6%. Ananya Kumar and Abhiram N Narayan secured the second rank with 98% each.
In the ISC exam, 43 of the 73 candidates scored 90% and above, with 69 candidates achieving distinction and the rest passing with first class. Niranjana Rajesh topped the school with 99.25% marks, while Vismaya Unnikrishnan secured the second rank with 98%.
Sarvodaya Vidyalaya
At Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, 185 out of 223 students who appeared for the ICSE exam earned distinctions. Devadathan B and Ishaan S Amar were the school toppers, each scoring 98.8% marks. In the ISC exam, Juhi Fathima Luli topped the school with 99.5% marks. Of the 140 students who appeared in the commerce and science streams, 115 secured distinctions and the remaining 25 achieved first class.
