UP Board: Sarvodaya Schools Achieve 99%+ Pass Rate

Lucknow: The Jai Prakash Narayan Sarvodaya Schools, run by the social welfare department for underprivileged students, delivered an outstanding performance in the UP Board results. A staggering 99.2% of students who appeared for Class X exams and 99% of Class XII students were declared successful.

Top Performers in Class X

In the academic year 2025-26, 2,457 students from Sarvodaya schools appeared for the Class X examination, of which 2,437 were declared successful. Among the top performers were:

  • Ujala Nishad from Saidpur Balika Vidyalaya, Ghazipur, who secured 94.33%.
  • Anushka Tripathi from Kaudihar, Prayagraj, who scored 93.16%.
  • Pawan Kumar from Hardauli, Banda, who secured 92.67%.
  • Adarsh Kumar from Raya, Bhadohi, who scored 92.66%.
  • Sunil Kumar from Naugarh, Chandauli, who secured 92.50%.

Class XII Science Stream

A total of 1,058 students appeared for the Class XII science stream examination, and 1,046 passed. The top scorers included:

  • Anjali Pundir from Nidauri, Ghaziabad, who scored 88.2% and ranked fourth in the district.
  • Deepak Singh from Khaga, Khasmau, Fatehpur, who secured 88%.
  • Anshika from Nidauri, Ghaziabad, who scored 87.4% and obtained sixth position in the district.
  • Manshu from Kaudihar, Prayagraj, who secured 86.2%.
  • Vikas Yadav from Mehrona, Deoria, who scored 85.6%.

Class XII Arts Stream

In the arts stream, 801 students appeared, and 795 were successful. The top performers were:

  • Radhika from Dhaulagarh, Bijnor, who secured 86.8%.
  • Suman Bharti from Sirsiya Hetimpur, Kushinagar, who scored 86.2%.
  • Shalu from Gauriganj, Amethi, who secured 85.2%.
  • Komal and Gayatri from Bijnor, who secured 84.8% each.

Reasons Behind the Success

Officials of the social welfare department attributed the remarkable results to the initiatives under the Yogi government. Smart classes, trained teachers, adequate books, better laboratories, and a safe environment are being provided in Sarvodaya schools. The combination of better resources, quality education, and a disciplined environment has led to this outstanding performance.

Students of Jai Prakash Narayan Sarvodaya Balika Vidyalaya, Nidauri in Ghaziabad also showed exceptional results. In Class XII science stream, Anjali Pundir secured 88.2% marks and ranked fourth in the district, while Anshika secured 87.4% marks and obtained the sixth position.
