In a persistent wildlife rescue effort, forest officials in Mysuru region are continuing treatment for a 25-year-old female wild elephant that remains trapped in the muddy slush of a reservoir at Hanur taluk in Chamarajanagar district. The elephant, while active and in stable condition according to authorities, is facing significant difficulties in standing on its feet despite multiple intervention attempts.
