Hisar: Haryana is likely to witness changing weather conditions over the next few days, with light to moderate rainfall, gusty winds, and thunderstorms expected across several parts of the state. According to the department of agricultural meteorology at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (HAU), Hisar, weather conditions in Haryana are expected to remain largely unstable until June 23, with intermittent cloud cover and changing wind patterns likely across the state.
Western Disturbance to Trigger Rainfall
According to the latest forecast, the movement of a western disturbance towards the hilly regions, along with the possibility of cyclonic circulation developing over Rajasthan and Punjab, can influence weather activity across Haryana from the night of June 18 to June 20. During this period, strong winds accompanied by thunderstorms and light rainfall are likely in most parts of the state.
Second Western Disturbance on June 22-23
Another western disturbance is expected to have a partial impact on weather conditions on June 22 and 23, which may trigger light to moderate rainfall in some areas. Meteorologists said that while daytime temperatures were not expected to witness any major fluctuations, a slight increase in night temperatures was likely during the forecast period.
Relief from Heat
Dr. Madan Khichar, head of the department of agricultural meteorology at HAU, said the changing weather pattern could bring temporary relief from prevailing heat conditions in several regions of the state.
