Kumar reviewed ongoing air pollution control measures during a meeting. Officials from GMDA, MCG, HSVP, and the Manesar civic body attended. The DC warned that negligence at any level would not be tolerated. He stressed the need for result-oriented action within fixed timelines. Mapping and Monitoring Pollution Hotspots
Kumar instructed departments to prepare both short- and long-term action plans. These plans should follow the mapping of major pollution hotspots. The DC also reviewed enforcement action against unauthorized industrial and construction units. Pollution control board officials provided an update. They said two illegal tyre-oil units had been shut down. Further inspections are now underway to identify more violators.

Kumar called for stricter monitoring of industries. He wants them to comply with online continuous emission monitoring systems. The DC demanded immediate corrective action where progress was found unsatisfactory.
