Florida Man's Unusual Drive-Through Visit on Horseback Goes Viral
A Florida resident has captured widespread attention online after an unconventional visit to a fast-food restaurant. Felipe Delamora rode his horse through a Chick-fil-A drive-through lane, leaving employees both surprised and amused by the unexpected customer.
The Viral Video Filmed on March 21
Delamora shared footage recorded from his glasses on March 21, showing himself on horseback as he navigated the drive-through lane. The video begins with the back of the horse's head visible as it walks through the lane, setting the stage for the unusual interaction.
"I was on my way home back from a ride on my horse, and I got thirsty, so I stopped through the Chick-fil-A drive-through and had an amazing interaction with the employees," Delamora explained about the moment that would soon go viral online.
Stunned Reactions from Chick-fil-A Staff
As Delamora approached the ordering area, staff members reacted with visible surprise and excitement. A worker named Mike greeted the equestrian customer with, "What's up, y'all? How are we doing today?"
The employees quickly asked if they could record the moment themselves, to which Delamora gave permission with a simple "go ahead." The exchange continued with one employee inquiring about the horse's name, learning it was called Gitano.
Another worker appeared momentarily speechless as the reality of the situation sank in. Staff inside the restaurant had already been discussing the horse's arrival after spotting the animal on their camera system.
Drive-Through Logistics and Staff Enthusiasm
At one point during the interaction, a car approached the drive-through lane behind the horse. Mike expressed concern about potential disruption, saying, "nobody better come in this lane." When the vehicle chose a different lane instead, he reacted with visible relief, exclaiming, "Yes, yes, yes," while clenching his fist in celebration.
Still amused by the situation, Mike looked up at Delamora and added, "Please tell me you're getting food," highlighting the staff's engagement with their unusual customer.
Technical Glitch and Online Reaction
The video cuts off before the order is completed, which Delamora later explained was due to the battery in his recording glasses running out. Despite the abrupt ending, he praised the staff's handling of the situation, writing, "[Michael] and the rest of the staff were great!"
The clip has since attracted significant attention online, with Mike himself appearing in the comments section to share his perspective. "Bruh im the worker I was in complete shock," he wrote, confirming the authenticity of the stunned reactions captured on video.
This unusual drive-through visit demonstrates how everyday interactions can become viral moments when they break from conventional expectations, while also highlighting the adaptability and good humor of service industry workers faced with unexpected situations.
