Govt Revokes Detention of Climate Activist Sonam Wangchuk

The Indian government has revoked the detention of climate activist Sonam Wangchuk with immediate effect. Wangchuk was detained on September 26 last year following violent protests in Ladakh that resulted in four fatalities.
