Apollo Hospitals PAT up 34% in FY26, revenue crosses Rs 25,000 crore

Chennai: Apollo Hospitals Enterprise on Wednesday reported a 34% increase in consolidated Profit after Tax (PAT) to Rs 1,942 crore for the financial year 2025-26, compared to Rs 1,446 crore in the previous fiscal year. The company's revenue touched Rs 25,229 crore during FY26, marking a 16% rise over Rs 21,794 crore in FY25.

Quarterly Performance

On a quarterly basis, the PAT jumped by 36% to Rs 529 crore in the quarter ended March 31, 2026, against Rs 390 crore in the same quarter of the previous year.

Management Commentary

Krishnan Akhileswaran, Group CFO of Apollo Hospitals, stated, "Our revenue for the full year (FY26) crossed the milestone of Rs 25,000 crore as a company. The EBITDA grew by 25% to Rs 3,769 crore (FY26) from Rs 3,022 crore (FY25). For the Q4 FY26 quarter, we saw a stellar performance in the hospitals business aided by a volume growth of 7%. In the last fiscal, four hospitals comprising 855 beds have been commissioned, of which 185 beds are operational. The remaining 670 beds will be operational over the next 12 to 18 months."

Regarding the growth outlook for the current financial year (FY27), he added, "We expect growth momentum to sustain, with a gradual upward trajectory driven by new hospitals and higher occupancy."

Impact of West Asia Crisis

Responding to a query on the impact of the West Asia crisis, Madhu Sasidhar, President & CEO of Apollo Hospitals, said, "We have not seen a material decrease in patients coming to us from Middle East countries. On the other hand, I think the bigger impact is going to be on the cost side, both inflationary as well as currency related."
