Former Supreme Court judge Justice Rajesh Bindal has been appointed as Honorary Distinguished Jurist at the School of Law, Galgotias University, marking a significant step in the university's efforts to enhance legal education through direct engagement with senior judicial figures.
Role and Responsibilities
Justice Bindal, who also served as Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court, will mentor students, deliver distinguished lectures and masterclasses, strengthen moot court programmes, support curriculum development, and foster research collaboration between the judiciary and academia. He held judicial office across several constitutional courts before serving as a Supreme Court judge.
