4 New Assistant Engineer Offices Approved Under JVVNL

The state government of Rajasthan has given its approval for the establishment of four new assistant engineer (electricity) offices under the Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam (JVVNL). These new offices will be located in Prithviraj Nagar (North and South), Narayan Vihar, and Todra in Sawai Madhopur.

Creation of New Posts

As part of this approval, four new posts of assistant engineer have been created. This move is aimed at strengthening the power infrastructure in these rapidly expanding localities and ensuring faster resolution of consumer complaints.

Background and Implementation

The decision follows an announcement made in the Budget for the fiscal year 2026–27. The finance department has now cleared the proposal, and JVVNL has issued the necessary operational orders to set up these offices.

Administrative Divisions

The Narayan Vihar and Prithviraj Nagar (North) subdivisions will fall under the Jaipur City Circle (North), while the Prithviraj Nagar (South) subdivision will come under the Circle (South). This organizational structure is designed to streamline operations and improve service delivery in these areas.

With the establishment of these offices, residents in these localities can expect more efficient handling of electricity-related issues, including quicker response times for complaints and better maintenance of power infrastructure.
