ADIA Arm to Sell 2.3% Stake in Lenskart for Rs 1,944 Crore

MUMBAI: Platinum Jasmine A 2018 Trust, an investment arm of Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), one of the world's largest sovereign wealth funds, is selling up to 4 crore shares of Lenskart Solutions. This translates to about 2.3% of the company, at a floor price of Rs 486 per share. At the offer price, the ADIA group arm is set to receive about Rs 1,944 crore (approximately $204 million) from this stake sale.

IIFL Capital Services is the broker for this block deal, which is expected to be concluded on Thursday. The sale represents a partial exit for ADIA, which had invested in Lenskart previously. Lenskart Solutions is a leading eyewear retailer in India, and this transaction highlights continued investor interest in the company despite market conditions.
