Kottayam: N Hari of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was appointed as the chairman of the Rubber Board by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry on Monday. His tenure will be for a period of three years.
Background of N Hari
Hari, a native of Pallikathode in Kottayam district, currently serves as the president of the BJP’s Alappuzha region. He has previously held the position of Kottayam district president of the BJP. Over his political career, Hari has contested assembly elections four times.
Experience with Rubber Board
Hari has been serving as an executive member of the Rubber Board for the last three years, bringing valuable experience to his new role as chairman.
