Lucknow: Industrialist and chartered accountant Dinesh Goyal was unanimously re-elected as the national president of the Indian Industries Association (IIA) for the term 2026-27. The election took place at IIA Bhawan in Lucknow on Saturday, and his new term will commence on July 1.
Election Process
The election was conducted under the supervision of former IIA national president and returning officer Ajay Gupta. The unanimous decision reflects the strong confidence the members have in Goyal's leadership.
Goyal's Background
Goyal is the chairman and managing director of Rama Shyama Papers Pvt Ltd, based in Bareilly. He expressed gratitude to the association members for reposing faith in his leadership and reiterated his commitment to the organization's goals.
Priorities for the New Term
Goyal emphasized that strengthening the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector would remain his top priority. He outlined plans to intensify IIA's membership expansion drive and work towards establishing new chapters across various states.
