Firefly Diamonds Opens 10th Store in India, Plans 25 by End 2026
Firefly Diamonds Reaches 10 Stores, Aims for 25 by 2026

Firefly Diamonds, one of India's fastest-growing lab-grown diamond jewellery brands, has crossed a significant milestone by opening its 10th store in the country. The brand now operates across five major cities: Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad, serving over 2,000 customers.

Expansion Plans and Funding

The company aims to expand to 25 stores by the end of 2026 and 60 stores the following year. This growth is supported by USD 3 million in funding led by WestBridge Capital, a venture capital firm with over USD 8 billion in assets under management. Firefly is also seeking franchise partners to accelerate its nationwide presence.

Product and Quality Assurance

Firefly's lab-grown diamonds are chemically, physically, and optically identical to mined diamonds, but offer better brilliance, clarity, and color. Each piece undergoes a 20-step production process taking over 100 hours, with diamonds set entirely by hand. Only the top 2% of diamonds are selected, and a 100-step quality assurance process ensures heirloom quality.

Customer Services and Collections

Firefly offers personalized services including Firefly Studio with over 50,000 custom ring combinations, and Firefly Reserve for bespoke jewellery creation. The Old Gold Exchange program allows customers to exchange existing gold jewellery for store credit. Key collections include All Ways You (transformable jewellery), Maxim (men's jewellery), and the Eden Collection (nature-inspired designs).

Sustainability and Social Impact

Firefly uses renewable energy to grow its diamonds, offering an environmentally responsible alternative to mining. For every customer, the brand plants a tree, trackable via a digital platform. Co-founders also established CADIndia, a non-profit providing affordable CAD training for jewellery design, training hundreds of students.

"For three generations, our family has been in the diamond business. What has changed is the customer," said Aayush Bhansali, Co-founder of Firefly Diamonds. "Consumers want exceptional craftsmanship, meaningful design, and a smarter way to own diamonds. Firefly was built to meet that demand."
