Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini met Flipkart Group CEO Kalyan Krishnamurthy and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Rajneesh Kumar at Haryana Bhawan in New Delhi on Monday. The meeting focused on deepening Flipkart's partnership with Haryana to boost economic development through technology and digital commerce.
Key Areas of Cooperation Discussed
The discussions covered expanding market access for farmers and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) using technology. Both sides explored ways to strengthen the agricultural value chain, promote entrepreneurship, and enhance skilling and employment opportunities across the state. The goal is to accelerate inclusive economic growth.
Focus on Horticulture and Fresh Produce
Special emphasis was placed on horticulture and fresh produce sourcing. The CM discussed enabling more farmers and Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) from Haryana to access wider markets through technology-enabled supply chains. This would help reduce intermediaries and improve farmer incomes.

Flipkart reiterated its long-term commitment to Haryana, stating it will continue creating new opportunities for farmers, entrepreneurs, and local businesses through its partnership with the state government. The company highlighted its role in leveraging digital commerce for rural prosperity.
