HSBC has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Prestige Group to develop 'Prestige JRC Signature Towers', a fully integrated campus spanning 1.2 million square feet on Bengaluru's Outer Ring Road. Once completed, it will rank among India's largest corporate campuses, underscoring HSBC's long-term commitment to the country.
Consolidating Operations for Greater Collaboration
The new campus is designed to consolidate colleagues currently spread across multiple Bengaluru locations, fostering enhanced collaboration and connectivity among teams. India hosts HSBC's largest Global Service & Technology Centres, with over 40,000 employees supporting global businesses, customers, and operations. These centres have evolved into critical capability hubs delivering technology, operations, risk management, financial crime compliance, data analytics, digital transformation, and enterprise-wide innovation.
Modern Workplace Design and Amenities
The campus incorporates modern ways of working, featuring high-quality workplace infrastructure and vibrant collaboration spaces. Amenities include a large dining facility, multi-functional spaces for town halls and learning and development, outdoor and community areas, direct metro connectivity, and ample parking.
Sustainability and Wellbeing at the Core
Sustainability and wellbeing are central to the campus design, targeting both LEED Platinum and WELL Platinum certification standards. This reflects HSBC's commitment to creating a people-focused and environmentally responsible workplace.
Georges Elhedery, Group CEO of HSBC, stated: "India is one of the most important talent centres in the world and continues to be a key market for HSBC. Bringing our colleagues together on one campus will help us move faster, collaborate more closely, and continue developing expertise and talent to provide the best support for our customers."
Supporting Future Work and Customer Needs
Suzy White, Group Chief Operating Officer, added: "The campus is being designed to support the future of work at HSBC, bringing together modern workplace design, accessibility, sustainability, and colleague wellbeing. Our ambition is to create a high-quality environment that supports HSBC's customers and businesses."
The investment will further enhance the capability centres' ability to meet evolving global customer needs. The project remains subject to the completion of relevant agreements and approvals.
