IET India Scholarship Award Deadline Extended to 5 July 2026

The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) has extended the application deadline for the 10th edition of the IET India Scholarship Award from 15 June to 5 July 2026. This extension provides aspiring engineers additional time to apply for one of India's most prestigious undergraduate engineering scholarship programmes.

Scholarship Details and Prize Pool

The scholarship is open to students enrolled full-time in AICTE- or UGC-approved institutions across India. For its 10th edition, the total prize pool has been doubled to ₹20 lakh. Awards include a national winner prize, along with regional winner and runner-up recognitions. Beyond financial support, participants gain national visibility, opportunities to present innovations before industry leaders, and access to the IET's global professional network.

Eligibility and Selection Process

Applicants must have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.0. The scholarship is open to students from all engineering disciplines and years of study, with no age restrictions. The selection process comprises four stages: online application, a national-level online test, regional solution presentation rounds, and a national finale in Bengaluru.
