The 98-second teaser offers a visually stunning glimpse into the mysterious world of Nilvanti, drawing from Indian folklore and blending mystery, mythology, and wild adventure.

The filmmakers opted for real locations, some previously unexplored in Hindi cinema, avoiding shortcuts common in the industry. The film stars Mahesh Nikam alongside Shanaya Tripathi, Yashraj Dimbale, Kiran Mane, Kalpana Sarang, Namdeo Murkute, Darshana Rasal, Dheeraj Sharma, Satyam Chhetri, Rahul Kulkarni, Laxmi Vibhute, Kalpesh Jagtap, Yogesh Dangat, Hemant Pawar, Shubham Chavhan, Jeevan Vagh, Rahul Nikam, Omkar Raut, and Ajim Patel in pivotal roles. It marks the debut production of Shivaratna Productions, founded by Mrs. Sucheta Ajay Nikam, with Ajay Nikam and Mangesh Vaity serving as co-producers.
Director's Vision and Challenges
Director Jageshhwar Lalita Dhoble, known for Marathi films Dha Lekach, Reshtip, and Kulswamini, helms the project. He noted the challenge of editing the teaser to hint at the plot without revealing it. "It was a challenge to shoot the film as well as to cut the teaser. We wanted to hold back on to the plot and yet, tease the audience about the film's setting and characters. I was a bundle of nerves until last week. But once the poster got such a positive response, I am sure the teaser would also do its trick," Dhoble said.
Cinematography and Technical Aspects
Cinematographer Aakash Sethi, with eight years of experience, shot in unexplored terrains under challenging climatic conditions. He remarked, "This was my most difficult work to date... However, the whole team was never determined and never gave up. That gave me a lot of encouragement. Today, when I see the visuals, I feel proud to have worked on Indrajaal. If the scenes of the film look so great on your phones, imagine their impact on the big screen!"
The film is written by State award-winning writer Namdeo Murkute, known for Bandookya, Ankush, and Apsara. Music is composed by Gaurav Chati, lyrics by Yogesh Dangat, background score by Ooday Salvi, costumes by Janhavi Shinde, and production design by Sachin Patil. Creative producers are Haresh Pemparam Sutar and Vikramsen Chavan, with Ashok Kendre as executive producer. VFX is handled by Steamy Circle Studio, and post-production by After Play Studio.
