ITC Hotels Posts Robust Q3 Performance with Significant Profit and Revenue Growth
Kolkata-based hospitality giant ITC Hotels has announced impressive financial results for the third quarter of the current fiscal year, showcasing a strong upward trajectory in both profitability and revenue. The company reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 235.1 crore for Q3 FY26, marking a substantial 9.4% increase compared to the Rs 214.9 crore recorded in the same period last fiscal year.
Revenue Surge and Operational Highlights
According to a stock exchange filing by the company, revenue from operations witnessed a remarkable 21.2% year-on-year jump, rising to Rs 1230.6 crore in Q3 FY26 from Rs 1015.4 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. This growth was underpinned by a robust performance across key segments, as highlighted in a media statement from ITC Hotels.
On a standalone basis, room revenue during the quarter grew by 12%, driven primarily by strong demand in the corporate, wedding, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) segments. The company achieved an average daily rate (ADR) growth of 9% and an occupancy expansion of 290 basis points, culminating in a consolidated revenue per available room (RevPAR) increase of 13%.
Expenses and Segment-Wise Performance
During the period under review, total expenses increased by 17.5% year-on-year to Rs 870 crore, compared with Rs 740.4 crore in the year-ago period. This rise in expenses is indicative of the company's operational scaling and investment in growth initiatives.
Food and beverage (F&B) revenue also showed positive momentum, growing by 8% in the third quarter this fiscal. This growth was led primarily by banqueting activities, with strong performance observed across weddings and corporate events, further bolstering the company's overall financial health.
The results reflect ITC Hotels' strategic focus on leveraging key demand drivers in the hospitality sector, positioning it well for sustained growth in the competitive market landscape.
