Maruti Suzuki Employees Volunteer 2,600+ Hours Under eParivartan

GURGAON: Under its eParivartan initiative, over 1,100 Maruti Suzuki employees dedicated more than 2,600 hours of their time and skills across 30 plus community activities. These efforts ranged from health and community care to education and youth engagement, positively impacting the lives of over 8,700 individuals.

Blood Donation Drives and Wheelchair Assembly

In the recently concluded financial year, employees actively participated in four blood donation drives organized across their offices and manufacturing locations. Volunteers applied their skills to assemble wheelchairs from kits provided by the auto major. The assembled units were donated to shelter homes and care centers.

Support for Shelter Homes

The volunteers further contributed by providing food, medicines, dry ration, and toiletries, addressing the everyday needs of residents at shelter homes. Additionally, they engaged with the elderly and underprivileged through structured companionship programs, fostering care, dignity, and meaningful human connection.

Education and Youth Engagement

Volunteers also initiated education and engagement activities with young learners from underprivileged backgrounds. A key initiative was arranging a visit to the Manesar manufacturing facility. Witnessing large-scale manufacturing and interacting with company employees helped spark curiosity, widen perspectives, and encourage children to think more freely about learning and future possibilities.

Inclusive Interactions

They also connected with specially-abled children through inclusive interactions and art sessions, fostering creativity and engagement. Spending time with students with visual impairments, supporting their learning needs through meaningful interactions, and distributing Braille kits was one such initiative.
