Bhopal: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Sunday set an ambitious target of establishing one crore micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the state by 2047, as he announced the disbursal of Rs 360 crore to more than 900 units under various schemes. Yadav described MSMEs as the backbone of the Indian economy, stating that such industries provide employment to crores of families across the country.
CM's Vision for MSME Growth
“The state government is continuously encouraging the establishment of employment-oriented industries in Madhya Pradesh. Our objective is to establish one crore MSMEs in the state by 2047. My government’s goal is to promote industry in every district, employment in every family, and opportunities for every youth,” he said.
Samriddh MSMEs Programme
Yadav was addressing the gathering after inaugurating the ‘Samriddh MSMEs–Vikasit Madhya Pradesh’ programme in Bhopal. The event facilitated the transfer of subsidy amounts through a single-click to MSME entrepreneurs, start-ups, and beneficiaries of various government schemes.
