MP Transfers 29 IAS Officers in Major Bureaucratic Reshuffle

Bhopal: In a significant administrative overhaul, the Madhya Pradesh government on Wednesday transferred 29 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, including three of principal secretary rank.

Key Appointments

Karmveer Sharma has been appointed as the new divisional commissioner of Bhopal, while Sheelendra Singh will take over as the commissioner of Rewa division. Alok Kumar Singh, who served as secretary to the Chief Minister and held additional charge of the mineral resources department, has been transferred as Inspector General of Registration and Superintendent of Stamps.

Principal Secretary Level Changes

Mukesh Chand Gupta has been transferred as principal secretary in the jail department. E Ramesh Kumar has been posted as principal secretary in the revenue department. Vivek Kumar Porwal has been transferred as principal secretary of the mineral resources department.

Other Notable Transfers

Sanjeev has been transferred as secretary of the sports and youth welfare department. Babu Singh Jamod has been moved to the urban development and housing department as secretary. Deepak Singh has been transferred as commissioner-cum-registrar of cooperative societies in Bhopal. Amit Tomar has been appointed as managing director of Urja Vikas Nigam in Bhopal.

Satendra Singh has been transferred as commissioner of the backward classes and minority welfare department. Bhaskar Lakshakar has been made commissioner-cum-director of food, civil supplies, and consumer protection. Dinesh Shrivastava has been transferred as secretary to the Madhya Pradesh State Election Commission.

Saurav Kumar Suman has been transferred as commissioner of horticulture and food processing department. Manoj Pushp has been posted as director in the public health and family welfare department. Preeti Jain has been appointed as joint commissioner (litigation and coordination) in Indore, while Rohit Singh has been transferred as managing director of the MP Text Book Corporation.

Harshika Singh will take charge as the new director of budget. Bharti Jatav Ogrey has been transferred as additional secretary in the school education department. Amanbir Singh Bains has been transferred as commissioner of treasury and accounts. Kailash Wankhede has been appointed as additional secretary in the power department. Amar Bahadur Singh has been made additional secretary of the tribal department.

Pavan Kumar Jain has been transferred as deputy secretary in the cooperative department, while Rani Batad has been moved as deputy secretary in the labour department. Vinay Nigam has been transferred as chief executive officer of the State Rural Livelihood Mission in Bhopal. Manjusha Vikrant Rai has been shifted to the animal husbandry and dairy department as deputy secretary.

Shaily Kanash has been transferred as divisional secretary of the Board of Education in Indore. Arvind Kumar Shah will take over as CEO of Ayushman Bharat in Bhopal.
