The Maharashtra government has entered into a landmark agreement to establish the Navi Mumbai International MediCity (NMIMC), a pioneering global healthcare and innovation hub. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Cleveland Clinic (Ohio, USA), Brookfield Asset Management, and Arodhan Health City on Wednesday.

Described as a first-of-its-kind ecosystem in India, the MediCity project involves an investment of $1.2 billion USD. Spread across 250 acres in Navi Mumbai, the facility aims to integrate world-class patient care with cutting-edge medical research and innovation.
