Pune Hosts Major Job Fair for Ex-Servicemen, Drawing Hundreds of Veterans
In a significant initiative to support veterans transitioning to civilian life, a job fair specifically for ex-servicemen was held at the Bombay Engineering Group and Centre in Kirkee, Pune, on March 13. The job fair was formally inaugurated by Major General SBK Singh, SM, Director General (Resettlement), alongside Major General Vishal Aggarwal, General Officer Commanding of the Dakshin Maharashtra and Goa Sub Area. Both officers actively engaged with participating veterans and industry representatives, gaining insights into job market expectations and the challenges faced by ex-servicemen in their career transitions.
