To improve passenger convenience, Indian Railways has announced the regularisation of the Varanasi–Lucknow–Varanasi Special Express from Thursday. The train, which was previously operating as 04217/04218 Special, will now run as a daily express service with the new numbers 14225/14226.
Train Composition and Schedule
The train will consist of 15 coaches, including 13 general second-class coaches and two luggage coaches. It will depart from Varanasi at 6:20 AM and arrive in Lucknow at 12:20 PM, with halts at key stations such as Jaunpur, Shahganj, and Ayodhya. On the return journey, the train will leave Lucknow at 4:20 PM and reach Varanasi at 10:20 PM.
Other Timetable Changes
Additionally, the timings of the Dhanbad–Firozpur Ganga Sutlej Express have been revised between Malipur and Rudauli stations from Wednesday. Furthermore, the arrival time of the Lucknow–Varanasi Superfast Express at Varanasi has been changed to 10:40 PM.
These changes are part of the railways' ongoing efforts to enhance operational efficiency and passenger convenience. Commuters are advised to check the updated schedules before planning their journeys.
