The first of the four Taj hotels planned for Ayodhya has officially opened its doors in the holy city. Named Ayodhyām – IHCL SeleQtions, the property features 162 keys and marks the beginning of a series of luxury accommodations set to enhance the pilgrim town's hospitality landscape. The upcoming hotels include a top-tier Taj property, while SeleQtions itself represents a luxury brand under the Taj parent company, Indian Hotels Co Ltd (IHCL).
Spiritual Tourism Momentum
Deepika Rao, Executive Vice President of new businesses and hotel openings at IHCL, highlighted the significance of this launch. She stated: “Spiritual tourism in India continues to see strong momentum, with Ayodhya being among the country’s most revered destinations.
