Indian Railways Revises Timings of Two Vande Bharat Express Trains from Varanasi
Indian Railways has announced a revision in the timings of two Vande Bharat Express trains operating from Varanasi. The changes will come into effect from July 1, 2026, according to an official statement from the North Eastern Railway zone.
Details of the Revised Timings
The first train, the Varanasi-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express (Train Number 22436), will now depart from Varanasi at 6:00 AM instead of the previous 5:30 AM. It will arrive at New Delhi at 12:30 PM, with the travel time remaining unchanged at 6 hours and 30 minutes. The second train, the Varanasi-Patna Vande Bharat Express (Train Number 22438), will depart from Varanasi at 3:00 PM instead of 2:30 PM, reaching Patna at 6:15 PM, maintaining the same travel duration of 3 hours and 15 minutes.

The revised timings aim to provide better convenience for passengers, as per railway officials. A spokesperson for North Eastern Railway stated, 'The change has been made after reviewing passenger feedback and operational requirements.
