Autobacs India Achieves $1 Million Revenue Milestone
Autobacs India, operating under Roavion Automotive Pvt. Ltd., has successfully crossed the $1 million annual revenue threshold, marking a significant achievement for the bootstrapped automotive aftermarket platform. Specializing in premium vehicle upgrades and globally sourced automotive components, the company has established itself as a key player in India's fragmented aftermarket sector.
Expanding National Presence
Currently, Autobacs India operates through 42 installation partner locations across the country, supported by an 18-member centralized operations team. The company has announced ambitious plans to expand this network to more than 100 locations over the next three years, as part of a structured national expansion strategy aimed at formalizing the industry.
Addressing Industry Fragmentation
India's automotive aftermarket industry, valued at over $12 billion, has traditionally been characterized by decentralized workshops, informal pricing, and inconsistent sourcing channels. With the rise in premium vehicle ownership and growing consumer demand for high-performance and aesthetic upgrades, structured platforms like Autobacs India are gaining traction.
The company's operating model focuses on:
- Direct OEM-aligned imports from international markets.
- Globally diversified sourcing networks.
- Standardized national pricing frameworks.
- Defined operational processes for product distribution and installation partnerships.
Global Sourcing and Strategic Leadership
Autobacs India sources automotive components and upgrade systems from multiple countries, including Thailand, Germany, the United States, Italy, the United Kingdom, Taiwan, and Russia. This international sourcing is managed by Pathumwadee Manu, a Thai national and strategic leader within the organization, who oversees global supply chain partnerships and supplier network alignment.
Founder's Vision and Future Goals
Sachin T, Founder of Autobacs India, emphasized the company's mission to bring structure and transparency to the fragmented aftermarket segment. "We are building scalable systems, compliance-led product introductions, and a nationwide partner ecosystem that can support long-term industry formalization," he stated.
The company remains profitable while scaling operations and is evaluating structured strategic partnerships to support its nationwide expansion. Autobacs India is targeting $20 million in annual revenue within the next three years, positioning itself as a formalized national platform in India's premium automotive upgrade sector.
