Destination Bihar-Expo 2026 Set to Showcase Bihar's Industrial Potential

The Bihar Industries Association (BIA) is gearing up to host the 8th edition of its flagship industrial exhibition, Destination Bihar-Expo 2026, at Gandhi Maidan in Patna. Scheduled to run from February 26 to March 2, this five-day event is designed to attract significant investment to the state while accelerating industrialization and employment generation efforts.

Event Details and Government Support

The exhibition will be open to the public daily from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM, with free entry for all attendees. The inaugural ceremony is set for February 26 at 1:30 PM. Organized with robust support from the state government and the department of industries, the event underscores a collaborative push towards economic development. As a key partner, the Bihar chapter of the Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India (CREDAI) will host a dedicated property show, highlighting real estate opportunities in the region.

Inclusive Participation and Special Features

In a move to foster inclusivity, stalls have been allotted at subsidized rates to women entrepreneurs and individuals from weaker sections, enabling them to showcase handicrafts and cottage industry products. Spread across a vast 2.5 lakh square feet area, the exhibition will be housed in five large German hangars, each dedicated to specific sectors. One hangar is earmarked for real estate companies, while another will focus on solar energy firms, reflecting Bihar's growing interest in renewable energy solutions.
