Semiconductor Veteran Balaji Kanigicherla Joins Chipsolve as Chairman

Chipsolve Technologies announced on July 1, 2026, that Balaji Kanigicherla, a seasoned semiconductor industry leader, has been appointed Chairman of the Board, effective immediately. The Hyderabad-based company is expanding its focus on semiconductor design services, intellectual property (IP), and AI-enabled engineering workflows for next-generation system-on-chip (SoC) development.

Over 30 Years of Leadership Experience

Kanigicherla brings more than three decades of experience in semiconductor architecture, product development, engineering, and business management. He has held P&L responsibility for businesses worth approximately $1 billion. His expertise spans data center, graphics, CPU, memory, networking, embedded, IoT, smartphone, automotive, and PC platforms.

Most recently, he served as CTO and Head of Engineering at Renesas Electronics. Prior to that, he was Corporate Vice President and General Manager at Intel Corporation and Founder and CEO of INEDA Systems. He holds 17 U.S. patents in IP, SoC, and system architectures.

Strategic Role in Scaling Chipsolve
