Mumbai's Elphinstone Road Overbridge Demolition Accelerates with Key Girder Removal
In a significant development for Mumbai's infrastructure overhaul, the demolition of the Elphinstone Road overbridge has gathered momentum following a successful overnight operation by Western Railway. During a critical block between 1:30 AM and 6:00 AM, a large team of workers, supported by an 800 MT crane, successfully de-launched two 32-meter-long girders at Prabhadevi station. With this delaunching, the work on the western portion of the ROB has been completed."
