Fire at Decor Warehouse in Nagpur Causes Rs 8 Lakh Loss

A major fire broke out at a warehouse storing decoration materials in Surabardi during the early hours of Friday, triggering panic in the area and causing losses estimated between Rs 7 and Rs 8 lakh. According to the Wanadongri Municipal Council Fire Department, the blaze was reported at around 1:02 am, following which a firefighting team led by fire officer Sanket Mate rushed to the spot.

Details of the Incident

Officials said the warehouse belonged to Ishan Dohare and was stocked with decorative materials, many of which are highly inflammable in nature. By the time firefighters reached the location, flames had already engulfed a large portion of the stored items. Fire personnel immediately launched cooling and containment measures and managed to bring the blaze under control.

No Casualties Reported

Authorities said no casualties or injuries were reported in the incident. However, a substantial quantity of decoration materials kept inside the warehouse was destroyed in the fire. The exact cause of the blaze is yet to be ascertained.
