Fortune City Unveils New Brand Identity and Avenue Mall in Erode
Fortune City, located in Erode, Tamil Nadu, has officially revealed its new brand identity and conducted a soft launch of Avenue Mall on March 16, 2026. This event marks a pivotal step in the development's transformation into a comprehensive retail, lifestyle, and entertainment hub for the Kongu region.
Launch Event Highlights
The unveiling ceremony took place at Fortune City, situated on the Coimbatore-Salem National Highway, with a select gathering in attendance. The evening featured a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony and the official presentation of the new Fortune City logo by dignitaries.
Avenue Mall: A Key Anchor
The soft launch introduced Avenue Mall, a massive retail and lifestyle zone spanning 4,00,000 square feet. Designed as a central anchor within Fortune City, the mall will host a curated selection of national and international brands across various categories, including lifestyle, food, and entertainment.
Strategic Vision and Statements
Mr. C. Devarajan, Managing Director of URC Constructions, a key investor in the project, emphasized the timing of Fortune City's unveiling. He noted that it coincides with the Government of Tamil Nadu's recent launch of Tidel Park Neo in the adjacent campus, highlighting Erode's evolution and appeal to a younger workforce from IT and services sectors.
"As Erode attracts professionals, destinations like Fortune City will meet their lifestyle aspirations by offering shopping, entertainment, dining, and social experiences, with plans for accommodation and hospitality in the long term," he added.
S. Shriram, Founder and CEO of Miles2Go Consulting Services, detailed the master plan, which includes nine integrated elements:

- Food and beverage districts
- Multiplex cinemas
- Sports arena
- Office spaces
- Event venues
- Co-living areas
- Leisure hotel
- One of India's largest EV hubs with 100 charging points
"Fortune City is envisioned as an all-in-one space for the Kongu region, designed to serve current and future generations," he stated.
