Hyundai Motor India has officially launched the new Hyundai Creta Summer Edition, a special variant series designed to enhance the appeal of its popular midsize SUV. This edition introduces additional premium features to specific variants, effectively extending advanced equipment to lower- and mid-level trims, thereby improving overall value and customer satisfaction.
Pricing and Availability Details
The Creta Summer Edition is offered in six distinct variants, with prices ranging from Rs 12.05 lakh to Rs 17.88 lakh (ex-showroom). Interested customers can book the SUV either online or by visiting their nearest Hyundai dealership, with deliveries expected to commence shortly. The vehicle is available with the 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engine options, though the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine is not included in this special edition.
Feature Breakdown Across Variants
EX Summer Edition: This base variant now includes a smart key and push-button start, adding convenience to the entry-level model.
EX(O) Summer Edition: Building on the EX features, this variant adds exterior and convenience enhancements such as quad-beam LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, horizon LED positioning lamps with DRLs, LED turn indicators, a rear window sunshade, dual-tone 16-inch steel wheels, and a rear camera with dynamic guidelines.
S(O) Summer Edition and S(O) Knight Summer Edition: These variants are equipped with a dashcam, which supports multiple functions including continuous recording, emergency and event recording, vacation mode, on-demand video and photo capture. The dashcam also allows video downloads to mobile devices through a dedicated app, enhancing safety and usability.
SX Summer Edition: In addition to the dashcam, this variant receives a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, providing a more modern and informative driving experience.
SX Premium Summer Edition: The top variant includes the 10.25-inch digital cluster, along with a surround view monitor, blind-spot view monitor, and front parking sensors. These features significantly improve visibility and ease of manoeuvring, catering to safety-conscious buyers.
Engine Specifications and Performance
The Creta Summer Edition is powered by two engine options: a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that delivers 115 hp of power and 143 Nm of torque, and a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine producing 118 hp and 260 Nm of torque. These engines ensure reliable performance and efficiency for daily driving needs.
