Kia India Unveils Updated 2026 Syros with Strategic Variant Rejig and Price Adjustment

Kia India has officially launched the new 2026 Kia Syros in the Indian automotive market, marking a significant update with a rejigged variant lineup. The MY 2026 model focuses on enhancing accessibility by offering key features in lower variants, introducing more affordable diesel-automatic options, and incorporating subtle design enhancements to refresh the vehicle's appeal.

Revised Pricing and Variant Structure

The 2026 Kia Syros now starts at an ex-showroom price of Rs 8.40 lakh, representing a reduction of Rs 27,000 from the previous starting price, making it more competitive in its segment. The updated lineup comprises seven distinct variants: HTE, HTE (O), HTK (EX), HTK+, HTK+(O), HTX, and HTX (O). Notably, the HTE, HTE(O), HTK+(O), and HTX(O) are newly introduced trims, while the earlier HTK, HTK(O), HTX+, and HTX+(O) variants have been phased out as part of this strategic refresh.

Variant-Wise Feature Breakdown

Kia Syros HTE: As the entry-level trim, the HTE variant is equipped with a comprehensive set of features including a 10.25-inch touchscreen supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12-inch LCD instrument cluster with a 4.2-inch MID, four speakers, steering-mounted controls, and four Type-C charging ports. Interior highlights include semi-leatherette seats in a black and grey theme with matte orange accents, rear AC vents, a centre console with armrest and cupholders, rear sunshade curtains, and a tilt-adjustable steering wheel. Externally, it boasts a digital tiger face design, ice-cube halogen headlamps, 15-inch steel wheels with covers, flush door handles, body-coloured side garnishes, glossy black skid plates, hood garnish, ORVMs, LED fog lamps, a high-mounted stop lamp, and a shark-fin antenna. Safety is prioritized with six airbags, ABS with EBD, BAS, ESC, VSM, HAC, ESS, speed- and impact-sensing door locks, rollover sensors, rear occupant alert, electrically adjustable ORVMs, and a remote key with central locking.

Kia Syros HTE (O): Building on the HTE, this variant adds an electric sunroof, 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, LED ambient lighting, two tweeters, a height-adjustable driver seat, and a highline tyre pressure monitoring system for enhanced comfort and convenience.

Kia Syros HTK EX: This trim upgrades to ice-cube LED headlamps, LED DRLs with integrated turn indicators, LED tail lamps, glossy black roof rails, a reverse parking camera with dynamic guidelines, and automatic headlamps, offering improved visibility and style.

Kia Syros HTK Plus: Featuring a panoramic sunroof, a cloud blue and grey cabin theme with mint green accents, 60:40 split rear seats with recline, a rear centre armrest with cupholders and adjustable headrests, cruise control, and a one-touch up/down driver window. The manual transmission version includes a centre console with armrest and cupholders, while the automatic variant adds a smart key with push-button start, EPB with auto-hold, paddle shifters, drive modes (Eco, Normal, Sport), traction modes (Sand, Mud, Snow), driver door control via smart key, rear disc brakes, a headlamp escort function, and a centre console with armrest and retractable cup holders.

Kia Syros HTK+ (O): This variant introduces Cloud Blue and Grey leatherette seats, a flat-bottom steering wheel with leatherette wrapping for both the wheel and gear knob, a smart key with push-button start and remote driver window control, along with a rear wiper and washer and a parcel tray for added practicality.

Kia Syros HTX: Stepping up, the HTX variant offers 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels with neon-finished brake callipers, a grey interior theme with matte orange accents, a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen, an eight-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, a dual-camera smart dashcam, ventilated front seats, a wireless charger, and a four-way powered driver seat for a premium experience.

Kia Syros HTX(O): As the top-of-the-line trim, the HTX (O) includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, Kia Connect 2.0 with over-the-air (OTA) update support, a 5-inch automatic climate control unit, rear ventilated seats (seat base only), and an auto-dimming IRVM, showcasing advanced technology and luxury features.
