Nagpur Labourer Succumbs to Injuries After Falling from Under-Construction Building
In a tragic incident in Nagpur, a young labourer lost his life after falling from the second floor of an under-construction building. The accident occurred in the Besa-Pipla area, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Hudkeshwar police limits.
Details of the Deceased and Incident
The deceased has been identified as Durgesh Yadav, a 22-year-old resident of Lakhnadaun in Madhya Pradesh. He was employed as a labourer at a construction site located near Shivneri Nagari 2 and Atharva Nagari in Nagpur.
On February 27, around 8:30 am, Yadav was engaged in work on the second floor of the building. While in the process of throwing construction materials, he suddenly lost his balance and fell to the ground below.
Immediate Aftermath and Police Action
The fall resulted in severe injuries for Yadav. He was promptly rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Despite efforts by healthcare professionals, he succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
Following the incident, the Hudkeshwar police have registered a case of accidental death. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fall to determine if any safety lapses contributed to this unfortunate event.
