Noida International Airport Construction Nears Finish Line, First Phase 95% Complete
The ambitious Noida International Airport project in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh, is rapidly approaching operational readiness as construction of its inaugural phase nears completion. Officials have confirmed that approximately 95% of the work for the first phase has already been finished, with the remaining components expected to be completed by November 10, 2024.

In its initial operational phase, the airport will feature a single runway and is designed to handle an annual passenger capacity of around 1.2 crore travelers. The airport is being developed on a vast land parcel in the Gautam Budh Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh. For the first phase, about 3,300 acres of land will be utilized. The long-term vision for the Noida International Airport is even more expansive. Once fully completed, the airport is planned to sprawl across about 11,750 acres and operate five runways. Its ultimate capacity is estimated to reach an impressive 30 crore passengers annually, positioning it as a major aviation hub in northern India.
