RIICO Opens 10th Phase Allotment for Textile Units in Bhilwara

Investors looking to establish textile units in Bhilwara, the textile hub of Rajasthan, have received encouraging news. The Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) has initiated the 10th phase of its direct allotment scheme, offering industrial plots ranging from 1,500 square metres to 36,000 square metres in the Rupaheri Textile Park.

Application Process and Deadline

Applicants who have signed memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with the state government during the Rising Rajasthan summit can apply online through RIICO's official portal until May 14, 2026. According to a RIICO official, those who have not yet executed MoUs may still do so before the deadline to participate in the scheme.

Eligible Industries

The park accommodates a wide range of textile-related industries, including:

  • Cotton and natural fibre processing
  • Man-made fibre production
  • Garments and ready-made apparel manufacturing
  • Technical textiles
  • Handloom and handicrafts
  • Wool processing
  • Textile accessories production

Infrastructure and Development

Spread over 209 hectares in Hurda tehsil, the park features 275 plots ranging from 500 square metres to 1,25,000 square metres. It provides infrastructure support for spinning, weaving, processing, and garment units. RIICO has sanctioned Rs 221 crore for the park's development. Work is currently underway on roads, culverts, boundary walls, and power infrastructure, including high-mast lighting. Environmental clearance has already been secured from the State-Level Impact Assessment Authority.

Incentives for Investors

Under the Rajasthan Textile and Apparel Policy 2025, investors can avail several benefits, such as:

  • Asset creation support for 10 years
  • Exemptions on stamp duty and electricity duty
  • Green solution incentives for eco-friendly projects
  • 50% reimbursement of employee training costs

Additionally, micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) will receive extra benefits under the Rajasthan MSME Policy 2024.
