Paisabazaar Expands Credit Premier League to Over 800 Towns in Second Edition
Paisabazaar has officially rolled out the second edition of its Credit Premier League (CPL), a nationwide initiative designed to enhance awareness and understanding of credit scores among Indian consumers. This updated campaign aims to significantly broaden its geographical footprint, targeting more than 800 towns and cities across the country. This marks a notable increase from the 710 locations covered during its inaugural run last year, reflecting the company's commitment to reaching a wider audience.
Interactive Features and Increased Participation Goals
The programme leverages interactive elements such as gamification, ranking systems, and financial incentives to simplify access to credit score information for a diverse set of users. By making the process engaging and rewarding, Paisabazaar expects to attract participation from over 60 lakh individuals nationwide. Participants can easily join the campaign by checking their credit scores through the Paisabazaar platform or its mobile application, where they can also track their progress on the campaign's leaderboard and rankings.
Building on Past Success and Regional Insights
The first edition of the Credit Premier League, held last year, saw impressive engagement with approximately 55 lakh users participating from 710 cities. Regional analysis from that edition revealed that Delhi recorded the highest average credit score at 746 among all cities. Other regions, including Pune, Kerala, and Chandigarh, also demonstrated comparatively stronger credit profiles. Notably, the highest individual credit score reported during the initial campaign was an impressive 861, highlighting the potential for financial health awareness.
Leadership Perspective and Brand Mission
Santosh Agarwal, CEO of Paisabazaar, commented on this development, emphasizing the company's dedication to financial literacy. He stated, "Driving large-scale awareness and engagement around credit has been central to our journey. Our focus remains on building a financially aware and credit-healthy Bharat—in line with our brand purpose 'Har Sapna Hoga Sach', enabling consumers to make informed financial decisions." This statement underscores the strategic importance of the Credit Premier League in fostering a culture of credit health and informed financial planning across India.
Enhanced Incentives and Reward Structure
The second edition introduces a revised and more expansive participation structure with updated incentives to motivate users. At the national level, individuals achieving the highest credit scores will be awarded ₹1 lakh. Additionally, top performers in each state will receive ₹10,000, encouraging competition at both regional and national scales. Participants from the state that records the highest average credit score will also qualify for rewards, further promoting collective financial improvement.
Practical Utility of Rewards Through PB Wallet
All incentives earned through the Credit Premier League programme will be credited directly to users' PB Wallet accounts. These funds can be utilized for a variety of routine transactions on the Paisabazaar platform, such as paying credit card bills, recharging mobile services, and settling utility payments. This integration ensures that the rewards are not only motivational but also practically applicable within users' regular financial activities, enhancing the overall value of participation.
By expanding its reach and refining its incentives, Paisabazaar's Credit Premier League continues to play a pivotal role in promoting credit score awareness and financial literacy across India, empowering consumers to take control of their financial futures.
