Ahmedabad is set to host a major real estate exhibition, the GIHED Property Olympiad, which will be inaugurated by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. The event, marking its 20th edition, is scheduled to take place at the GMDC Ground from January 9 to 11.
A Platform for City's Ambitious Growth
The Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI), Ahmedabad, is organising the exhibition. According to Rajesh Vaswani, Chairman of CREDAI Ahmedabad, the event holds special significance as Ahmedabad prepares for a transformative phase of urban and infrastructure development. The city's selection to host the 2030 Commonwealth Games and its plans to bid for the 2036 Summer Olympics are pivotal factors expected to catapult Ahmedabad onto the global stage.
"These mega-events are anticipated to drive large-scale infrastructure creation, attract substantial investments, and fuel strong demand across residential, commercial, and other real estate segments," Vaswani stated. He emphasised that the Property Olympiad offers a timely opportunity for buyers and investors to be part of this growth journey.
Diverse Portfolio for Every Buyer
The exhibition promises to be a comprehensive showcase for the real estate sector. Aalap Patel, President of CREDAI Ahmedabad, highlighted that the event will provide visitors access to a wide array of projects designed for varied budgets and preferences. Under one roof, attendees can explore:
- Affordable and premium housing projects
- Commercial and industrial developments
- Weekend homes and plotted schemes
With over 400 projects from more than 60 leading developers, the exhibition will cover not just Ahmedabad city but also its existing and upcoming growth corridors. This diversity ensures that both first-time homebuyers and seasoned investors will find suitable options.
Financial Support and Industry Bridge
Understanding the crucial role of financing, the event will also feature participation from major financial institutions. These institutions will be present to assist prospective buyers with information on loans and tailored financing solutions, making property acquisition more accessible.
Over its two-decade history, the GIHED Property Olympiad has established itself as one of Ahmedabad's largest property exhibitions. It has played a vital role in bridging the information and communication gap between real estate developers and consumers, facilitating informed decision-making.
The upcoming edition is poised to continue this legacy, offering a direct platform for engagement, exploration, and investment in the backdrop of Ahmedabad's promising economic and infrastructural future.
