Bengaluru North Corporation Officials to Inspect Building Projects to Prevent Unauthorised Construction
In a move to curb unauthorised construction, officials from the Bengaluru North Corporation (BNCC) have been directed to inspect ongoing building projects across the region. The initiative aims to ensure compliance with approved plans and regulations.
According to a BNCC statement, 'Officials were instructed to reduce the disposal time for building plan approvals and other applications.' This step is part of broader efforts to streamline the approval process and enhance transparency.
The inspections will focus on verifying that constructions adhere to sanctioned designs and that no illegal structures are being erected. Authorities have warned that strict action will be taken against violators, including demolition of unauthorised additions.
