The event, held at Devpur Para under the ambitious Atal Nagar Yojana, was marked by transparency and brought immense relief to hundreds of applicants.

The LDA ensured the allotment process was completely fair and open. Applicants were invited on stage to physically pick slips from the lottery, a move designed to build public trust. Officials stated that the scheme had received a total of 5,781 applications during the online registration window, which was open from October 4 to December 2, 2025.
One of the allottees, Rakesh Kumar Sharma, praised the authority's efforts, stating, "The process was transparent and easy to follow." Another successful applicant, Vipin Kumar Sahu from Prayagraj, expressed his joy and surprise. "I applied when the scheme was announced but did not expect my name to come up in the first draw," Sahu said. "This allotment means a permanent home for my family."
Project Details and Pricing of Atal Nagar Flats
Providing details about the large-scale housing project, LDA Additional Secretary CP Tripathi outlined its scope. The Atal Nagar Yojana comprises 2,496 flats spread across 15 towers, with building heights varying from 12 to 19 floors. "Of the total flats, 1,832 are 1BHK and 664 are 2BHK units," Tripathi clarified.
The flats are priced affordably to cater to a wide section of homebuyers. Prices range from approximately Rs 9.82 lakh to Rs 18 lakh, depending on the size and category of the unit. The built-up area for these homes varies from a compact 30 square metres to 54.95 square metres.
Residents will enjoy modern amenities designed for comfortable living. Tripathi confirmed that the project includes essential facilities such as:
