On Tuesday, State Chief Secretary Pratyaya Amrit convened a meeting with the founders of four promising startups originating from Bihar. The primary objective was to gain firsthand insight into the challenges encountered while establishing and scaling their ventures within the state. The meeting saw participation from a diverse group of entrepreneurs. Sachin Kumar, founder of Sattuz, presented his startup's vision. Nilay Pandey and Saurav Singh, the co-founders of Agrix Agrotech Pvt Ltd, shared their agri-tech journey. Neeraj Kumar Jha of Hanuman Care and Chandrashekhar Mandal, founder of Labour Chowk, also detailed their respective business models and objectives.
Each founder candidly discussed the specific problems they encountered while setting up their operations. The discussion was not limited to just identifying issues; it proactively moved towards brainstorming practical solutions to these challenges.
Government's Proactive Steps and Future Assurance
The Chief Secretary attentively gathered detailed information from all participants and listened to their future expansion plans. Demonstrating the administration's commitment, Pratyaya Amrit assured the founders of continued engagement. He stated that in the coming days, he would allocate time for startup companies in the Udyog Varta platform, a government-industry dialogue initiative, to ensure their problems are addressed with concrete solutions.
