Rishihood University successfully concluded the eighth edition of its Builder's BootCamp 2026, a five-day residential summer programme aimed at transforming school students into builders, innovators, and problem-solvers. Held from June 8 to 12, 2026, at the university's Sonipat campus, the programme brought together 30 students from 11 states and over 20 schools across India, representing educational boards including CBSE, ICSE, IB, and State Boards.
Programme Structure and Focus
The BootCamp immersed participants in interdisciplinary learning across technology, design, entrepreneurship, and psychology. Students collaborated in teams to solve real-world challenges, progressing through a structured journey of understanding problems, designing solutions, building prototypes, and presenting their ideas during a Demo Day. They worked alongside university faculty, startup founders, entrepreneurs, and industry experts, gaining hands-on exposure to design thinking, artificial intelligence, no-code technologies, business model development, and entrepreneurial problem-solving.
Participant Demographics and Aspirations
The cohort included students from Classes 9 to 12 and early college entrants. Nearly 60% of participants were from Class 12, providing them with valuable exposure to higher education pathways and startup ecosystems. According to the university, more than 83% of participants expressed interest in building startups, products, or companies in the future, while nearly 90% identified entrepreneurship & innovation or technology & AI as their primary areas of interest.
Residential Experience and Skill Development
The residential experience simulated university life, with students participating in sports, cultural evenings, founder interactions, and informal mentorship sessions. The programme aimed to cultivate creativity, curiosity, and confidence, equipping participants with an entrepreneurial mindset to tackle complex challenges. Students explored design thinking, empathy-driven problem-solving, prototype development, business model creation, and effective pitching.
Participating Schools and Impact
Representing leading schools such as Delhi Public School, Amity International School, Narayana Schools, Vidyagyan, Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, and La Martiniere, among others, the BootCamp created a vibrant national cohort. Now in its eighth edition, the programme is part of Rishihood University's broader educational philosophy of nurturing problem-solving individuals who combine knowledge with creativity and purpose.
