Delhi Trade Fair 2025 Inaugurated at Bharat Mandapam
The 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF) has officially commenced at the Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The event was inaugurated today by Jitin Prasada, the Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, marking the beginning of a vibrant 14-day exhibition that promises to be a major attraction for businesses and the general public alike.
Focus States and International Participation
This year's international fair, which carries the theme ‘Ek Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat’, has designated Jharkhand as the focus state. The partner states for the event are Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, and Bihar. The global scale of the fair is underscored by the participation of twelve countries, including prominent nations such as the United Arab Emirates, China, Iran, South Korea, and Egypt.
The trade fair is a significant platform for fostering business-to-business and business-to-consumer linkages, showcasing a wide array of domestic and international products, with a special emphasis on the novel innovations emerging from India's manufacturing sector.
Ticket Prices, Dates, and Essential Visitor Information
The first five days of the fair are exclusively reserved for business visitors. The general public will be allowed entry starting from the 19th of November 2025. The fair timings are from 10:00 am to 7:30 pm, but it is crucial to note that entry will be closed after 5:30 pm.
Ticket pricing is structured as follows:
- Business Tickets: Priced at ₹500, valid on all business days, including business weekend days.
- Children on Business Days: ₹150 on weekdays and ₹200 on weekends.
- General Public (Non-Business Days): Adult tickets are ₹80 on weekdays and ₹150 on weekends. For children, it's ₹40 on weekdays and ₹60 on weekends.
- Free Entry: Senior citizens and persons with disabilities can enter the fair for free.
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is the official ticketing partner. The Supreme Court metro station is the nearest station for visitors. Tickets can be purchased through the official ITPO website, at 55 selected Delhi Metro stations, and via the Delhi Metro’s ‘Saarthi’ app.

Traffic Advisory for a Smooth Journey
The Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory warning of potential traffic congestion on routes around Pragati Maidan, including Mathura Road, Bhairon Marg, Ring Road, Shershah Road, and Purana Quila Road. Commuters who are not visiting the fair are strongly advised to avoid or bypass these roads between November 14 and November 27, 2025, to ensure smooth travel.
