Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini declared on Friday that the landmark India–European Union Free Trade Agreement will unlock unprecedented trade pathways for the state, calling upon local entrepreneurs to proactively leverage this strategic pact. Establishment of Haryana-EU Working Group Announced
In a significant move to facilitate this new economic relationship, the chief minister officially announced the creation of a dedicated Haryana–European Union Working Group. The agreement is poised to catalyze demand for Indian expertise across several high-growth sectors within Europe. Saini specifically pointed to information technology services, data science, and advanced supply chain management as areas where Haryana's skilled professionals can secure millions of high-value employment opportunities.
Furthermore, he painted a vivid picture of the agricultural sector's gains, remarking, "When the hard work of Haryana's farmers appears on shelves in supermarkets across Brussels, Berlin, and Paris, it will be a powerful testament to the strength and quality of our state's agricultural produce."

Chief Minister Saini identified the state's micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) as the true backbone of its economy.
