In January 2026, the airport handled an impressive total of 245,708 passengers, marking a new peak in its growth trajectory.
Breakdown of Passenger Traffic Figures
The record-breaking total comprised 163,966 domestic travellers and 81,742 international passengers. Both figures represent the highest monthly domestic and international traffic recorded at the airport since it began operations. Alongside passenger numbers, the airport logged 1,624 air traffic movements (ATMs) during January 2026. This included:

The 425 international ATMs established a new monthly record, surpassing the previous high of 422 achieved in December 2025. Similarly, GA movements reached a new peak at 58, exceeding the earlier record of 57 set in January 2024.
