The government of Uttar Pradesh has announced a consistent upward trend in exports from the dairy and animal husbandry sectors over the past year and a half. Official data reveals a notable increase in the value of exported goods, highlighting the state's strengthening position in global markets.

Export Figures Show Steady Increase

According to the latest statistics, exports of products categorized under 'dairy products, eggs, natural honey, and edible products' amounted to Rs 444.10 crore during the period from April 2023 to November 2024. This figure rose to Rs 489.24 crore between April 2024 and November 2025, marking a growth of 10.16%.

An official from the Department of Animal Husbandry attributed this positive development to several critical factors:

  • Enhanced Product Quality: Significant improvements have been observed in the quality of key products including milk, ghee, paneer, butter, milk powder, honey, and eggs.
  • Expansion of Processing Facilities: The state has seen a considerable expansion in processing infrastructure, which has bolstered its global competitiveness.
  • Improved Support Systems: Better packaging, stringent quality control measures, and efficient supply chain management have further assisted in boosting export performance.
