Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attended the Uttar Pradesh Investment Roadshow in Tokyo on Wednesday, presenting the state as a global hub for skilled labor and a massive consumption market with a population of 250 million. He emphasized that consistent policy reforms over the last nine years have transformed Uttar Pradesh into a premier global investment hub.

Key Highlights from the Tokyo Address

During his speech, CM Adityanath highlighted several critical advantages that make Uttar Pradesh an attractive destination for investors:

  • Demographic Dividend: "Uttar Pradesh is known as the food basket of India and has the largest water resources in the country. We have identified a population of 250 million within the state, with 56% being youth—a dynamic working force. Skilled and affordable manpower is readily available across all sectors," he stated.
  • Infrastructure Excellence: "Today, Uttar Pradesh alone accounts for 95% of India's expressways and boasts the nation's largest rail network. In air connectivity, we have operationalized 16 domestic and 4 international airports in the last nine years, with the Noida International Airport, India's largest, set to launch soon," he added.
  • Economic Growth: "The results of our government's policies over the past nine years are evident. Uttar Pradesh has established itself as one of the fastest-growing states economically in India," CM Adityanath asserted.

Invitation to Japanese Business Leaders

CM Adityanath extended a formal invitation to Japanese business leaders, urging them to visit Uttar Pradesh and contribute to advancing the private industrial park program. He emphasized the state's readiness to foster bilateral cooperation and explore new investment opportunities.

Cultural and Historical Significance

In his address, CM Adityanath also highlighted Uttar Pradesh's rich cultural heritage, noting it as the birthplace of Lord Ram and a central region for Buddhism, with various sacred sites related to Lord Buddha's life. Official Visit to Japan

CM Yogi Adityanath arrived in Tokyo for an official visit from February 25-26, aimed at strengthening Uttar Pradesh's investment opportunities and industrial growth. During his stay, he is expected to participate in key meetings and interactions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and exploring investment avenues for the state.
